Salsa & Bachata
What would a trip to Mexico be without learning Salsa or Bachata? We offer free weekly lessons to all students. Classes begin with basic steps and when you're ready we teach turns and more intricate partner dancing. No need to bring a partner — just your dancing feet and desire to move!
Mexican Cooking
Join us for an evening of traditional Mexican home cooking. We teach students how to make authentic Yucatecan dishes — cochinita pibil, basket tacos, agua de chaya. The recipe is given in Spanish, of course. Extra sessions during the week can also be arranged for an additional cost.
Cenote Excursion
Unique to this region of the world, the cenotes are a treasure trove of natural beauty for those who love snorkeling, swimming and exploring. Silvino, our SECTUR-certified guide, takes small groups to three secret cenotes just 40 minutes from Playa. Transport, entrance and snorkel included.
Chichén Itzá & Ek Balam
A full day with Silvino visiting the most impressive archaeological sites on the Yucatán Peninsula. Full guided tour in Spanish — no large tourist groups. Sunrise departure to avoid the heat and crowds. Lunch stop in Valladolid included.
Diving & Snorkeling
Diving in Playa del Carmen and Cozumel is one of the main draws of the area. We work with several trusted dive shops known for their excellent customer service and multilingual guides. We can connect you with companies that operate in English, Spanish, French and Russian.
