About the school
A family-run school, welcoming you to Playa del Carmen.
We offer total immersion in Spanish through private, semi-private and group classes. With our special and progressive methodology — no matter your age or level — you'll hear, see and feel Spanish in its natural environment. All classes are taught by experienced and certified Mexican teachers who love sharing their passion for language and culture.
Opened in December 2013, the Chichén Itzá School brought to life the Galicia family's dream. We specialize in teaching Spanish to foreigners in an intensive yet fun environment, offering lessons in a family atmosphere, accommodation options, and free weekly activities — cooking classes, salsa dancing, a conversation club and tours around Playa del Carmen.
